pickin' n' scratchin'

While we're on the subject of old, silly themed party mixes... how about this very special, very silly mix I cooked up this past May for the awesomely successful, never-to-be-repeated Spring Chicken Dance Party at the Roost (in West Philly.)

Penny vs. Penny

It's pretty self-explanatory. You may have realized, but then again you may not, just how funky chicken music can get. One thing I certainly didn't realize until I started putting this thing together, is that there is apparently an entire genre of Polish chicken techno music that exists on YouTube. (of course there is.) Tell me what it tastes like?

hey - if it gets another re-working you should consider including 'alabama chicken' by Sean Hayes - one of my favorite San Francisco singer/songwriter types with a distinctive, wonderful, wobbly voice.
